CANDLELIT is an acoustic music project designed by musicians for musicians.
It's ultimate aim is to help promote top quality acoustic music from within myspace.
At a small Village Hall in Meden Vale near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire the idea was born from the brilliant UNLIT tour of gifted singer / songwriter JONT. The name is a tribute to JONT'S track Candlelit from his superb CD album SUPERNATURAL - www.myspace.com/jontmusic
Now based at the beautiful ROSE & CROWN Pub in Barlborough near Chesterfield - situated just off junction 30 of the M1 motorway - friday nights have become our intimate, social, candlelit acoustic evenings - where we have been fortunate to have hosted some of the finest singer / songwriters plying their trade around the country.
The support network - Peter Schwenk, Sue Schwenk, Marie Schwenk ( family pub owners ) and their delightful bar staff ( big mention for Stuart ! ), regulars Steve Mitchell, Shaun Addison, David Jones, Nathan and his family and crew, Jonathan, Gordon Brown ( yes we have a Gordon Brown !! ) Ses and Jan from Meden Vale who have graciously provided accomodation for artists at their beautiful home, Mark and Emma King, Barry & Lisa Cockburn, Ryan Holleywell, David Shields, Damon Downs, Philip Shields and infact everyone who has turned out to support our humble yet beautiful venture.
The utterly brilliant SHAUN T HUNTER performing a superb version of his beautiful song SHELTER ........... Quite simply as good as it ever gets !

My new single is out very soon. The launch party will be 10th July @ a new venue on Denmark St, Peter Parkers Rock n Roll club. I will be playing with a full band. Its a Friday night, hope you can come down!
