CANDLELIT is an acoustic music project designed by musicians for musicians.
It's ultimate aim is to help promote top quality acoustic music from within myspace.
At a small Village Hall in Meden Vale near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire the idea was born from the brilliant UNLIT tour of gifted singer / songwriter JONT. The name is a tribute to JONT'S track Candlelit from his superb CD album SUPERNATURAL
We then moved to the beautiful ROSE & CROWN Pub in Barlborough near Chesterfield - situated just off junction 30 of the M1 motorway - friday nights became our intimate, social, candlelit acoustic evenings - where we hosted some of the finest singer / songwriters around the country.
We are using a few venues now including The Sherwood ( SPIKES ) the 9 hole golf course pub / restaurant in Mansfield Woodhouse and we are delighted to be, once again, using The Rose & Crown Barlborough once a month - now on Saturday evenings ........................................................................................................................................................................................................................
