About Candlelit Records

CANDLELIT RECORDS is a brand new, small, independant Record Label designed to help promote artist's within myspace. We operate in conjunction with CANDLELIT - www.myspace.com/candlelitacoustic who host intimate, candlelit evenings at cozy venues in Nottinghamshire. The whole ethos is to provide a service to singer / songwriter's in order that their songs are played to an appreciative, listening audience in a sociable environment. Our debut offering is a tribute to one of the country's finest, unsung heroes and influential songwriter's of a generation MARTIN STEPHENSON. Martin has given us his blessing to release the CD which was lovingly put together with the wonderful support of a host of superb musicians and songwriters who have recorded a version of their particular favourite Martin Stephenson song. We will be presenting a master copy to Martin at a gig at The Debees Music Bar in Winsford, Cheshire on July 30th. The Cd should be available soon, after the presentation. Stuart Nicol	Oct 28 2008 4:41 PM ach things are good man, we are going back over our old stuff and recording them full band now, but I'm missing gigging, like seriously missing it ha ha ha, gonna do a wee charity gig on the 12th november, just me and a wee 17 year old guitar maestro. For a place called reeltime, they let young folk come in and play about with recording video editing etc, good cause. Hoping that will tide me over till I can gig with Sketch again.
