Candy Band was formed in 2003 by Detroit rock veteran Paula Messner (Motor Dolls, Vertical Pillows). Paula grabbed 3 stay-at-home mom friends from her local YWCA and set to work revolutionizing childrens' music.
The band has recorded 3 CDs : Candy Band, More Candy, and Lollipunk, and played shows ranging from school assemblies, to neighborhood bars, to the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago.
