Some of my interests are...music..I used to play in a girl punk band years ago, I'm playing the drums again, and I'm learning the bass... belly dancing, the human mind, art, reading, jewelry design, martial arts, kung fu and the internal arts, travel, history, New York City, and London.
Music
What I'm listening to now??? thisisatrainwreck... They are a new group out of Southern Nevada. Thisisatrainwreck are fresh, raw, and down, and I really like where they are going with their sound. Check them out on My Space now! Like right now! My favorite music includes Hot Hot Heat, Panic At The Disco, the gorillaz, Sean Paul, Jack White's new band, R.E.M., Hossam Ramzy and Middle Eastern music as I study belly dance. I adore punk, old school, like the Dead Kennedy's, The Sex Pistols, The Clash, Black Flag, and Seven Seconds. I like hip hop, alternative, and world music, and I love jazz and classical music.
Movies
My favorite movies are Hustle and Flow, Transamerica, Blade Runner, The Perfect Storm, Best of Show, A Mighty Wind, This is Spinal Tap, The Name of The Rose, and Enter the Dragon. Also, The 5th Element, Once Upon a Time in China, House of Flying Daggers, Taboo, Shaolin Soccer, Samurai Fiction, The Sea is Watching, and Kira Kurosawa films.
Television
History Channel, 6ft Under, Project Runway, America's Next Top Model, and CNN. Nancy Grace cracks me up. I love The Ultimate Fighter, both the series and the matches.
Books
My favorite writers include Amy Tan, P.D. James, William Gibson, Andrew Vachss, Martin Cruz Smith, and Ruth Prawer Jhabvala. David Sedaris and Augustin Burroughs are so funny. I also love non-fiction books and books about martial arts, like Angry White Pajamas and Autumn Lightning. I loved "The Night My Mother Met Bruce Lee" by Paisley Rekdal, and "Positively Fifth Street" by James McManus. Has anyone read The Master and Margarita?
Heroes
My heros are firefighters and police who responded to 9/11 and all of our soldiers who are fighting overseas, Noah from Anti Racist Action, also Rosa Parks and
Mukhtar Mai, who has to be the bravest woman in the world. My newest hero is Keith Olbermann!
About me: What I want: Peace
Things I love: Knowing that in life anything is possible, ballerinas and belly dancers, swimming in the ocean at night, the quality of light at twilight, falling in love with a piece of music, books and more books, driving as fast as possible through wide open western valleys, wind and rain, that feeling of flying off to a place I've never traveled to before, watching young musicians and new bands, innovative design of any kind, martial arts and artists, desert lightening storms, belly dance costumes, historical places and ancient ruins, the amazing resilience of the human spirit, Chateau Margaux, dark smokey Jazz clubs, talking with children, dancing with complete abandon, New York and London, having a wild streak, pretty dresses, people who can love full out without reservation or fear, and believing that the good alone is all. ********People I love: My family each and every one of them, The Angel Princess with the long pink hair, Rosie, Rosie, Rosie, Patty and Jamie and Jackie and EJ, Susie and Greg and Alexa, Donald, Todd, Randy and Brian, Julie and Tammy, Chad, Tsikki and Sifu and the boys, Travis and Dan, and all of Jack's friends but most of all Jill, and Heather.*******Things that creep me out: Pervs who prey on children, prejudice of any kind, racial injustice, men or cultures who suppress women and women's rights, sharks, pimps and players, tweakers, wooden tongue depressors and popsicle sticks, clowns, black cats, and people who lie.
Who I'd like to meet: I would like to meet one of my favorite writers... William Gibson and Morris Dees, founder of the Southern Poverty Law Center. People I'd love to see again..Serena and Hossam Ramzey, Sifu Carl, and Sensei Laurence.

Hello once again...
I'm just stopping by to see how things are going on your corner of the net.
Most of us are locked down into this society. We're wage-slaves, prisoners of our own design, anchored, and robbed of our dreams.
We must dissent, we must rebel, we must disobey, we must ask questions, and we must wake up.
Look past the 'truth', journey down the rabbit hole, and journey with me to wherever me may go. Our world, our society, and our culture are broken.
Only we can set things right.
Imagine, Hail Eris, Fuck em if they can't take a joke, and don't ever back down.
