About me: Welcome to the MySpace Page for ThreeMusesClothing.com owner Candy Keane. It's a combo page- so there's a little business and a little personal stuff.
Established in 2005, Three Muses Inspired Clothing started in original costume design and then branched out into online retail sales including several different retail brands. Three Muses opened a costume boutique in Jacksonville, FL on Jan. 31st, 2009.
Contrary to popular belief, there are not three of us running the business. I named the business after the three women who have been my greatest inspirations- my mom, grandmother and greatgrandmother. I am lucky enough to have known three generations of my family and appreciate everything they have done to inspire me to follow my dreams and pursue my passions.
But while am the Grand Poobah of the entire operation, I have not been alone in growing this business. My mom has been a great help with live events and promotions and I couldn't get through the Halloween rush without the help and sewing expertise of mygrandmother. My husband Sean has supported me every step of the way, even when I scatter costume parts from one end of the house to the next, get paint on everything and use the pool table as a shipping station. And my friends have always been behind me. Most notably Meisha, who has tagged more bikinis than she can count and gotten hand cramps from squeezing gold paint bottles. Thanks to all of you who believe in me and this business.
Who I'd like to meet: People who love Halloween, cosplay and costuming in general. Artists, photographers, fashion designers, costumers, models, con goers and people who love all the fun creative stuff and dressing up, or just fans of seeing other people in costume.
