How to Enter:
You have until the last day of each month to enter. Winners will be announced on or around the first for the next month, so entries in December, will be January winners.
Winners will be selected based on:
*Picture quality, setting and avatar beauty
*Representation of our clothing
*The entrants biography

The Submitted Photo's dimensions must be a square. We prefer a 512 x 512 size but It MUST be a square. If the resolution is too small we cannot use it and you will be instantly disqualified.
By entering this contest you agree to have the submitted information posted on our site and store. You also agree to give CanDy, Cape Weary, and other CanDy staff full rights to your picture if needed.
Prizes: The winner of each month will receive 3 outfits of their choice from the CanDy main store. The winner's picture and a short bio will also be featured in our blog with his or her photo being displayed for the month at our store entrance.

CanDy has been in SL for almost 3 years now. Graphic artist Damonias Hatfield and Cape Weary actually started CanDy as a sound and texture store called Sounds Like in our newbie days, however, after experimenting with the SL clothing templates we found clothing to be much more our style (no pun intended!) and our first formal gowns were created. The first gowns were long before flexi was introduced to Second Life and at this this time there were about 20,000 SL residents. Our dresses were a hit with the residents so we kept making more and more and our store grew from a 10x10 square into the huge success it is today! CanDy is actually a combination of both Cape and Damon, which is why there is a capital D.
Today, CanDy consists of 4 designers, Cape and Damon still own and operate it, but we have also welcomed Delena Cortez of Syncope, a jewelry designer and Ineed Moore, a real life computer programmer and fantastic SL scripter. We have also expanded from dresses and gowns to formal men's wear, casual clothing, silks and camisks, Gorean clothing, sex tubs, pools, dance pits, moving artwork, jewelry and collars. Designing is both of our passion and we love creating on SL and plan to keep doing so for a long time. Come by and see why we are one of the longest standing stores in SL.
