‘Cane Records, one of the first student-run record labels, was created in the fall of 1993 by a small group of ambitious graduate and undergraduate students in the Music Business and Entertainment Industries program at the University Of Miami School Of Music.MISSION STATEMENT

To provide music industry students at the University of Miami with real-world experience operating an independent record company. To provide developing recording artists with the opportunity to launch their recording career by exposing their name and recordings to the broadest possible audience.
