Following the release of “Mysterium Magnum”
in 2006, I began to explore the idea of recreating
some of the music from the past that had inspired
me to make music my passion in life.The songs,
the production, the sound, and most importantly,
the 60's and the 70's were witness to ground breaking
vision, and choosing 13 or so songs to record turned
out to be quite a challenge. I searched the planet, to
select a diverse collection of Psychedelic, Folk, and
Progressive Music that for me, defined the time.
I was committed to staying true to the Spirit of the songs,
in many cases, searched for the instruments and sounds
used in the original recordings. In the decades since these
songs were first recorded, technology has advanced to the
point that there are few limitations. It was the idea of
capitilizing on these advances, that made this such an
exciting project.
