Welcome to my own personal journey in the LAND OF 1000 DANCES ..Hi my name is Greg Esparza, a singer songwriter and actor from La Habra, CA that has had the honor of gracing the stage as the lead singer for 2 of the most legendary music groups to ever come out of East L.A. 1960s' CANNIBAL AND THE HEADHUNTERS and THEE MIDNITERS! The Headhunters Richard "SCAR" Lopez and Bobby "RABBIT" Jaramillo gave me my first shot in 1999 and we toured around til around 2005. Just as things were cooling down with The Headhunters, around January 2006, I got a call from Jimmy Espinoza, leader of THEE MIDNITERS telling me they were going in a new direction and they would love for me to join them in their upcoming February 07 Valentines Concert! I couldn't believe it, but there I went; To the HP Pavillion in san Jose, CA! It was a sold out arena with over 14500 in attendance and one of the greatest experiences I've ever had; Performing with the group, THEE MIDNITERS that inspired me to dream as a kid about singing and then being onstage with them doing just that! When word got back to the inner circle of Midniter confidants, friends and management in East L.A. about my first showing; There was one cool message coming from Thee Midniters old guard and it was, "I got good reports on you" from the band all the way up to Willie! In May of 2008, I debuted at The Greek Theatre with them! Definitely another huge milestone in my singing career and I can only dream of more shows to come...
