The CANOE CLUB RESTAURANT & BAR, located one half mile east of 7hwy on Colbern Rd at LAKE LOTAWANA entrance #2 has developed into one of Jackson County Missouri's newest, and most unique gathering place where friends gather for food and drink.
Our "Relaxed Surf & Turf" menu theme translates into original recipies that cross borders of land and sea with a price to fit all budgets and attire. The "Now Famous" PHISH TACOS have quickly become a local favorite for both lake rats and inlanders alike.
Saddle up to our rustic bar that is made from 100% recycled lumber from original Lotawana lake cabins and enjoy one of our many selections of micro brews or choose from our 17 wines by the glass. Some find that grabbing a fine cigar out of our humidor and retiring to our spacious cedar deck is the perfect way to finish a great meal.
From our hand cut steaks and ground beef that we buy daily from TOM'S R&R MEAT MARKET, we pride ourselves on using only the freshest ingredients from local farmers and distributors. To view our full menu click the yellow link in the upper right portion of this page.
With boastful amounts of knotty pine, rough-cut timbers, and natural stone, we will take you back to the early days of Lotawana lake life. Whether dining in our smoke-free main room, or outside on our spacious cedar deck, our mission is to provide a quality product at a fair price, with EXCELLENT service to our guests.
In addition to great food and beverages, the CANOE CLUB also offers LIVE MUSIC in an intimate setting every THURSDAY, FRIDAY, and SATURDAY nights beginning around 9pm. Focusing on genres of Bluegrass, Acoustic Rock, Jam, Jazz and Blues, this cozy hang out has been known to attract some accomplished musicians traveling across Interstate 70. Under the radar guests have included members of national acts such as THE STRING CHEESE INCIDENT, PARTICLE, THE SAMPLES, PHIL LESH & FRIENDS and TEA LEAF GREEN. Keep your ear to the rumor mill because you just never know who is going to show up at the Canoe!
Wet swimsuits, flip-flops, and well-behaved kids are always welcome. We hope to see you soon at THE CANOE CLUB!
