can_of_be consists of 4 experienced musicians who just love strange music and weird tunes and 'suffer' from the obsession to weld that into their own songs. Main instruments used vary from and between electric guitars, cello, piano, glockenspiel, jewish harp, percussion, accordion, keyboard, electric bass, scrapmetal and a singing saw!
The music that comes out is extremely divers... can_of_be searches for the perfect balance between caressing beauty and derailed madness; they explore the boundaries of dynamics, giving each song its own, sometimes cinematic sphere. This leads to a sweet lullaby suddenly being transformed into a theatrical gypsy theme, or a funky groove resulting in minimal music. Each song is played about with until it has its own organic feel in an effort to create an inescapable sound, in your face!
