The Canongate Cadjers are an Edinburgh-based ceilidh band, playing throughout Scotland and beyond for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, graduation balls... anything that requires an irresistible ceilidh dance tune to get the party started. The band are no strangers to the ceilidh tent at T in the Park, and are regulars at the Merlin in Edinburgh.

Hey, and thanks for adding our duo, too. You don't play the usual ceilidh style I've most often heard in the past, do you all? Vonnie from 2 Bits (hammered dulcimer and piano)
indeed the world is very small. Greetings to your fiddle player. Perhaps it's interesting for her: Check out our site on http://www. lastfm. de/music/Caledonix Alec is singing the Auld Lang Syne - very gentle - and he plays the pipe for the Barren Rocks and he speaks the Intro on our CD. You can also find some photos of him playing with us.
He did't tell us about the Cadjers. I will ask him.
thanks for adding as friends. We feel highly honoured. I think, the band Wunakina is speaking of was ours. On this place greetings to Wunakina, too ::))
Our guest musician is from Edinburgh, too. I called him and told him your myspace-address. He hasn't a myspace account - but he told me that he really likes your music! His name is James Dolan - He's a great harmonica player!! James will go back to Scotland in 5 weeks ... Maybe you'll see him anytime! :) Some weeks before we were on an concert of a German "Shittish Folk" band. That was great - but your music is better ;)
Have a wonderful weekend, Philipp
