Can't Find a Villain formed in July of 2005, but the story begins four year prior.. Tare one and Of Nazareth first met during the backpacking days of '98 at battle in the Bay Area. However it would be several years later before they actually began collaborating. Tare left the Bay for a couple of years while, Nazareth went to college while performing in Slams. While at college he met Jus Words a local schizophrenic, and the two formed School Yard Dope Fiends. As fate would have it Nazareth met a young scientist by the name of Joe Dukes, who had just produced his first track. The puzzle was nearly complete. . .all save one piece. Returning from the sweltering Bayou's of Louisiana was Tare One, weary from travel but filled with hopes to crossbreed hip-hop. The following months, pausing only for water and nicotine, sheltering themselves from society, a dark persona began to creep into the minds of Tare One, Of Nazareth, Jus Words and Joe Dukes. . . the villains had been born. The newly named group performed their first show the following October. In April, they completed their self titled album, featuring Beta Central and DJ IllTraxx. Winging their way west over city and mountain, through the storm swept nights, Can't Find a Villain continues their journey onward. Stay tuned to find out where our villains will end up next. . .
