   About Canticle
Canticle is comprised of classical musicians who wish to use their gifts and talents to reach out to the community. We serve retirement homes, nursing homes, hospitals, hospice, churches and charitable events in Pensacola and surrounding areas. Instruments we use include harps, handbells, various woodwinds and strings, voice, and piano.

Canticle was launched by Gonzalez United Methodist Church in 2004. Our membership grew, we added more performances and new projects, and began to actively volunteer with Covenant Hospice. In April 2006, Canticle became a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity.

We wish to extend special thanks to Gonzalez UMC for helping us get started, and for continuing to allow us the use of their 3-octave set of Schulmerich handbells and bell equipment. Handbells are a huge part of what we do, and they so generously make that possible for us.

I've really enjoyed listening to your music and wish you the best concerning the future. However, right now, I'd like to ask a small request. Could you give my new Celtic-inspired track, RACING THE WIND, a listen and let me know what you think of it? Feedback is the only way for me to truely grow and develop as a musician.

Thanks,

~John

I noticed Monika and Bobby have started a Canticle tradition of going to either Chik Filet or Starbucks once a week. I would like to vote and make it official! ;-)
