    .. .. .. ..Sean Akio Canty, a.k.a. Cantos, has advanced to the vanguard of the Sacramento dance music scene. With roots in mixing records reaching back to the underground hip-hop scene of early 90's and a member of Zulu Nation's NorthStar Chapter, Cantos possesses a level of skill and professionalism behind the decks that few can claim. His sound, forged by an intense passion to remain true to himself, .a mixture of deep, progressive beats, dark breaks and smooth vocal tracks, defies - demands control of the dance floor and his live sets can only be described as inspiring. His ability to read individual dancers and understand their desires an intimate relationship experienced by all. Beginning in Sacramento as a resident for underground production crews, Cantos is now a regular guest at PURE inside The Rage Nightclub as well as frequest apperences on KWOD 106.5 FM. His past residencies include Urban Breaks at Twisted Thursdays located inside The Tower Club, Sacramento's Hard Rock Cafe on Friday nights and his own weekly event LOGIC. With support from Sacramentos most respected production crews , as well as U.K.s Primalsounds.com, broadcasts streaming audio of his weekly internet show ProgressiveSoul through Selekta.com reaches audiences worldwide. Cantos has utilized opportunities to share the decks with accomplished performers such as DJ Micro, DJ Dragnfly, Gianni, East Coast Boogiemen, MTV's DJ Icon, Aphrodite, Moda, Ariel Cybana, Madame Mercury, Beat Slingers, Brian Morgan, Paul Lancaster, Richard Summerhayes and DJ Dara.
