YOU CAN FIND THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE UP TO DATE INTERNET NEWS ON THE BAND CAN U DUET--INCLUDING BLOGS ON MY PAGE, ALL THE CONTESTANTS I MET ARE PURE PROFESSIONALS..NOTHING BUT LOVE TO THEM AS WELL AS TO THE WINNERS MEG AND JOSH WHO HAVE SANG SO BEAUTIFULLY AND DEAD ON THEY HAVE MADE ME CRY BEFORE..I KNOW EVERYONE WILL FEEL THEM...
Congratulations to all contestants, as they are all winners in one way or the other, just for making it to the show! Much success to all in the future!
Enjoyed the show Saturday night. Congratulations to Steel Magnolia on their win, to JB Rocket on what sounds like a future phone call from Scott Borchetta (or maybe that's already happened now) and to everyone involved, for a great second season of CYD! Hoping there'll be a season three!
It was wonderful to hear Caitlin & Will perform. Thought they sounded great and I actually stayed up late for the re-airing of the finale to hear them again.
My own little run-down of favorites from season 2:
Favorite cover song performance: O'Shea - 'Cryin''
Favorite original song: The Stellas - 'Ridin' In The Back Seat'
Best house band ever - Sixwire
Favorite new arrangement of a cover song: Ryan & Avalon - 'Tennessee Waltz'
Best close-ups coming back from commercial: Chuck Tilley (he rocketh)
Disappointed that Ryan and Avalon didn't make it all the way. Would love to hear their version of American Track as a single! Thanks for such an awesome show!
I'm enjoying CYD season 2. Everyone's done a great job. Missing O'Shea (especially on original song night) and The Stellas, as these duos quickly became my personal picks. I'll be keeping my ears peeled for them in future. :)
While my picks obviously aren't on the same page with what the judges are looking for this season, it's been interesting to note that, overall, my reactions to the performances have been far more in line with Big Kenny's than with either of the other judges. I would not have guessed that. :)
Can't help wanting to give Lance a fourth judge's vote, by the way. :)
As in last season, Sixwire has sounded incredible this season. What a band!!! Somebody...cough...Mr. Borchetta, perhaps...cough... get these guys on the radio already!!!
Congratulations to Caitlin & Will and to The Coppolas on their new videos, which I've just seen recently...both lovely. Well done, Caitlin, conveying all that emotion to the camera!
Looking forward to the finale and to a 3rd season of CYD!
Thank you so much for adding us as a friend. We just love watching CYD every saturday night. Since next week is the finale for the season, I'm hoping that there will be a CYD #3! I just love all the duets that have been on, they are all very talented people. Melissa & Ana
Thanks for the add/ Friend Request! Please check out the guys im supporting Jonathan and Brandon aka JB Rocket from CMT's Can You Duet at www.myspace.com/jbrocketmusic and head over to www.jbrocketmusic.com
So sad to see the Stellas go...def don't agree with the post below tho about Ryan & Avalon, could listen to them play and sing all night & day they are AMAZING!!
JB Rocket should win, thanks for putting them together, they are great. The Stella's, should have stayed around longer, loved thier song, oh well they will make it big, look at Joey and Rory they got third and they have done more then the other two. I am a fan of Brownell and Richey but I wish they would do more, it seems like all they do is play bars in Nashville. They need a better pr person.

Favorite "happy ears" harmony moment: JB Rocket - 'Neon Moon'
Judge I'd most like to go bowling with: Big Kenny
(Viewer Scott Borchetta would least like to go bowling with: Me, because I'd yammer at him incessantly about Sixwire)
Best TMI moment: Jonathan - "gotta pee"
Best on-stage chemistry lesson: Steel Magnolia - 'I Need You'
Best "bumps" (rockin' bits of music leading into or out of commercial...just to be completely clear, here) - Sixwire
Best display of humor on their myspace page: (tie) Can You Duet - "The Rules"
O'shea - the reviews
Best wishes to all!
