We're so easy to find, in the west end of Hindley Street, right between the UniSA City West campus with the new tramline extension and Currie Street. We pride ourselves on the quality of our food and the atmosphere of our café and we know you'll have a great time with us!
We also can help you plan and host your next function, with private rooms and a great beer garden available for your event. We can help plan the menus then prepare and serve the food, leaving you free to enjoy your function.
Our catering business, Adelaide All Budget Catering, can add that finishing touch to your conference, promotion or any other event that can be catered. We don't promote set menus but work with you to design a menu that will suit both your event and your budget to ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible.
CAOS Cafe & Bar offers a combination of fine dining, casual elegance and entertainment that ensures it is the home of casual dining in the west end.
But CAOS is much more than a cafe - it hosts entertainment, such as acts from the Festival Fringe, offers private function rooms and looks after corporate catering for many companies and events.
ADELAIDE FRINGE FESTIVAL
Every year Caos plays host to Adelaide Fringe Festival events, with a number of acts performing in our café so why not have a great meal and then sit back and enjoy a drink or two and catch some of the best performers in the Fringe?
Located in the west end of Adelaide, between the UniSA City West campus and the Adelaide TAFE college we are easy to find and there is plenty of parking and we're close to several modes of public transport - just up North Terrace is the Railway Station, on Currie Street and North Terrace are major bus routes and the new Adelaide Tramline extension will bring you right to us, simply walk up from North Terrace to Hindley Street and you're here!

Holding an event and need someone to look after the catering? Adelaide All Budget Catering, the catering arm of CAOS Café & Bar, will work with you to ensure that all you have to worry about is enjoying the function on the day.
At CAOS we don't tell you what the menu will be - we work with you to design a menu that fits your budget, ensuring that you get what you want. CAOS is a fully licensed caterer and can provide full bar facilities, excellent wines and cocktails for your event, wherever required. Your special event can be held in the unique surroundings of our premises or delivered to the privacy of your home or function centre.
Along with our catering menu options our full café menu and fantastic chef specials are available and for group lunches at the café you can take advantage of our pre-order options to save time. With prices starting from just $10 per person for food and beverage packages we can accommodate almost any budget without compromising the quality of food and service.
So who uses CAOS as their caterers? The AIDS Council of SA, Oxfam, the Variety Club of SA, the University of SA, the Australian Film Commission, the Australian Medical Association (AMA), Buena Vista Films International, Kodak Australia and the Adelaide Fringe Festival just to name a few!
