Debut Solo Album "Kill That Noise" Released on Hecatomb 2005
Capaciti makes his first release known and his presence felt on Kill That Noise, a debut that introduces the world to this Minneapolis emcee. There's a lot of material to cover over this sixty-one minute album.
Certainly upon first listen it's entertaining. It's a hip hop release but it's more for the fan of a musical stance, or an advanced listener who is very much into hip hop. Featuring Guest Spot from Carnage
"Saturday Morning Soundtrack: is the amazing album I(Capaciti) recorded with Ecid, Impulse(sector 7-g), & Kristoff Krane(abzorbr). All four of us explored the limits of song together, Ecid made the beats & we also got Eyedea to collaborate with us on a "jam" or two...you can learn more & hear it @ www.myspace.com/sms129

My name is Capaciti and I live inside my notebook on the outside of minneapolis and appreciate the talent of Rhyme I have.....I am a MC and I like to make what I call Raw Rap.....I have been rapping for close to 15 years now, but have been very serious about my music and performing for around 6-7 years.....I am in many groups and have a few side projects I work on in my spare time....I joined forces with the homie Carnage and Hecatomb in 2004 and self released "Kill That Noise" in late 2005 a collection of tracks I made between 2003-2005........Shortly after I found out Saturday's weren't just for cartoons and sleeping in, they were made to record a very creative project with some friends (Ecid, Impulse and Kristoff Krane) called "Saturday Morning Soundtrack" in late 2006... I found a family feeling with Fill in the Breaks who released SMS, then also released "Blind Cinema Sessions" my first collaborative project with A-Scratch in summer 2007 which actually was recorded a year prior to it's release featuring songs with Awol One, Reason from Grayskul, Barfly of Oldominion, Carnage and SMS to name a few.....Since then I have released a few "mixtape" style cd's only available at shows "Collecting Dust Vol. 2" and another which i refrain to mention.....I like to keep busy......In 2008 with the help of West Salem school in LaCrosse Wi A-Scratch and myself along with a few others rappers released "Critter Kids" an environmental conscious record for children.....I also got to be a part of "Siamese Popadapolis" a digital release from M.C. Rentz and Loonatix Productions.......ok what's next?? Wait...Hold up....I gotta take it back a bit....It's was around Holloween of 2007 when I hit up Cheap Cologne's studio with Shapeshifter's own Awol One to make "Marilyn Handsome" a 10 song album featuring guests like Z-man, Sleep, Josh Martinez and Carnage.....Still awaiting it's release, but should be this year, I can't wait any longer!!!! Beside for getting Married in 2009 and being a Dad to 2 wonderful children all the time, I have been real focused ..ing the "I'm the Dj, He's the Rapper" mixtape with A-Scratch a old school approach at making dope music.....I also am debating a digital release this year??? "Eight months and a day" which is a very personal look at who Dave is!! Big Props to the homie Jaron from West End Productions who I am working on alot of new songs with, that will probably make up some of my next adventures in sound.......
I have had the privilege to perform on the same stage as some great artists such as.....The Liks, Awol One, 2MEX, Life Rexell and Existereo of the Shapeshifters, Tame One and Slow Suicide Stimulus, Eyedea and Abilities, Sage Francis, Lyrics Born, R.A. the Rugged Man, Musab, Doomtree, A Plus of Hieroglyphics, Josh Martinez, Tech Nine, I Self Devine, Heiruspecs, Listener of Deepspace 5, the Crest, Sleep of Oldominion, Icon the Mic King, el da sensei,
Jus Allah of Jedi Mind Tricks, Yak Ballz, and Mac Lethal along with many other very dope artists in Minnesota and surrounding states......
