Capcomia Studios was erected in June 2006 by Darkj, the once solo-act of his band Frozen Mist that wanted to release music on his own homebrew underground label after a handful of self-released material with the band. And yes, the name Capcomia comes from the video game company, Capcom.

In April 2009, Capcomia Studios and Wolf's Lair Records have joined forces to self-release and to promote the bands and projects that are affiliated with us for future releases!! A compilation CD is in the talking stages right now.

Capcomia Studios resides in the rolling hills and forests of North-Central Pennsylvania located between the borough of Montoursville and the Lycoming Mall in Lycoming County on Old Cement Road. We're only 10 minutes away from Williamsport, PA (depending on how fast you drive).

Wolf's Lair Records is located in the hidden woods of Millville in Columbia County, PA.

Capcomia Studios offers semi-professional recording on a Windows 7 Ultimate Gateway based PC system, hi-quality preset mastering software for 16bit or 32bit audio, Adobe Audition for editing and mixing, offering a crisp and clear sound output from a Samsung HT-TZ512 Digital Theatre System, your choice of several effects and plugins to enhance your audio, vocal recording on a Radio Shack 33-3038 microphone and CD-R recording burned at a slow speed to reduce the risk of errors for your final master using hi-quality Verbatim CD-R's.

We also include Adobe Photoshop services for creating or editing CD album covers, banners, posters, etc.

We also offer outdoor photography services!! For usage with album covers, promo shoots, pictorials, etc. Whatever your need may be.

We will interview and take in extreme metal bands or solo-projects from our area and East-Coast USA, but we can be open depending on the style of music you play or wish to pursue.

Capcomia Studios is indeed a very comfortable place to visit and makes you feel right at home with free Maxwell House coffee, free beer and liquor (or you can bring your own), including occasional cookouts on the grill.
