About me:

I'm Dan Gordon, co-author of the bestseller "Haunted Baseball: Ghosts, Curses, Legends & Eerie Events," now in its fifth printing, and the regionally popular "Cape Encounters: Contemporary Cape Cod Ghosts Stories."

"Haunted Baseball" is a collection of otherworldly stories gathered from interviews with over 800 players, stadium personnel, front office folks and fans. Our book explores the sometimes amusing, sometimes spooky connection between baseball and the paranormal. From haunted ballparks to team hotel poltergeists to departed Hall-of-Famers who don't know the game is over, "Haunted Baseball" is chock full of fun, quirky stories that will please skeptics and believers alike. For more information, feel free to visit our website www.hauntedbaseball.com.

In "Cape Encounters," residents of Cape Cod share stories about ghosts who descend staircases that no longer exist, kiss sleeping women, flip theater seats, fold laundry, and join musicians onstage. While seeking out only the mysterious, my co-author Gary Joseph and I instead met intelligent, thoughtful individuals who related their stories with humor and insight.

What these ordinary Cape Codders have to say may challenge your notions of haunted houses. Their stories also capture the unique charm of the Cape—a combination of tradition, natural beauty, maritime lore. . . and mystery. Enter the Cape's historic, soulful homes and discover a world in which the past is very much alive.

For more information on "Cape Encounters" or to check out our "Scary Cape Creatures" card game and "Cape Cod Haunted Map," visit our WEBSITE - www.capeencounters.com.

I just finished "Haunted Baseball".  Very good read with interesting stories.  An Angel and Dodger fan and never new Dodger Stadium has some eerie goings on.  Visiting Chicago for the first time this September and will be taking in a Cubs game in the "active" bleachers!  Looking forward to it!  I can't wait for your follow up to Haunted Baseball.  Keep them coming!
