   About Capital City Studjoe
The Stu-djoe was acquired from the legendary Montie Temple's "land of sugar" in Jan 2005 by Brian Simakis and pals. It was constructed by Scott Robinsound, Mason McClew, Simakis, and countless others in 2005. It features a 700 square foot main room with 16 foot high celings, a 5 sided sloped ceiling control room reaching a height of 12 feet, and a 7 sided iso booth. There are many large windows throughout the space, creating an "open" feeling. Though the space is around 95.999444355% complete, we have been recording and mixing non-stop. The studjoe features- MAC G5- ProTools LE- Digidesign 002 R- Tango 24/48 8 channel A/D converter- 16 simultaneous ProTools inputs- 16 channel Yamaha 1516 (classic transfomer sound)- Vintech dual 1272- Mindprint En-Voice- Audio Technica 4050's- A large selection of mics from shure, sennhieser and others. A large varitey of amps, drums, and instruments for recording. Recording is now available! We also would like bands for our promotional compilation. We are proud members of the local musicians collective, The Lemon House Collective. Staff Engineers at the Studjoe: Brian Simakis- Scott Robinson- Mason McClew- Beau Barnett and Jake Thomas. Rehearsal spots are rented in 3 hour blocks of time, paid in advance monthly. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

My drummer (Will Ong)

was in the hospital from 7-28 to 8-08 with organized pneumonia, and chronic influencea & boop.

He has tiny holes in his lungs traping air in his chest, throat and sometimes shoulder blades. He had a lung byopsy almost three weeks ago that didn't help

with the diagnosis. He also had a chest tube in him for a week along with a bronchoscopy. He eneded up leaving with 3 staples and 12 stitches in on his side

along with a nice hole from the chest tube. He is currently home on an oxygen machine for 2 months. The doctors don't know if these holes in his lungs will

seal up or if the infection will return so It might be longer.

There are a couple of benefit shows coming up to help Will pay for his $72,000 and rising hospital bill. On top of the several doctors I need to see in the

next few weeks.
One of hese shows is 9-12-08 @ the High Five 9pm to Midnight.

If u could come out or promote by posting bullitens for this benfit show and help support a great drummer, musician and friend.

If you can't make the benifit and want to make a donation please send me a message and I will send you amailing address.

Thanks for your support,

Rob
