Capital Grass and the No Men are Matt Gower, Wayne Coulis, D'Arcy McGuire and Rob Hanlon. These gunslingers combine roots music and punk rawk energy to form a sound they like to call "Punktry". If you listen closely to the lyrics, you'll hear songs about fear, love, loss and hope. Main influences include but are not limited to Neko Case, The Sadies and The Black Keys. Hailing from a town in southwestern Ontario known as Guelph, Capital Grass and the No Men have played all across the land with bands such as The Rural Alberta Advantage, Sarah Hallman, Arthur Renwick and The Schomberg Fair.

A near record crowd enjoyed amazing sets by Jill Zmud, Huntley Slim, and Arms of the Girl .
There was a well attended fun after party with Legendary Zaphod's DJ's Kerri and Arun... Cody Doby Much of Music VJ Contest fame, did a brillant job as MC.
oh, I've seen the calm before the storm... many storms, been a long summer out east and such... headed west boys & girl..... I do hope we get to hook up at some point, but it may not be till the spring, we shall see... until whenever.. merry everything! J.G.
Hi there Capital Grass and the No Men first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
