Capital Sound is a phenomenal 9-piece R&B, Soul, Blues, Funk and Rock & Roll band based out of Columbus, OH. Formed in 2005, Capital Sound was instantly recognized as one of the area's most talented and entertaining bands! Within 6 months of the bands inception, we had already opened up for national acts such as Flogging Molly, The Roots, Keane, REO Speedwagon and Ted Nugent! We have also had the privilege to play some great charitable events such as AIDSWalk, Relay For Life, as well as playing the 2006 Columbus Marathon!

Forget the flowers. Forget the dresses. Forget the meal. The band is what truly makes the wedding and Capital Sound is as good as it gets. The band's energy and charisma make it impossible not to get out of your seat and tap your feet. At ours, even the bride's 83 year old grandfather was cutting a rug. The groom sweated through 3 shirts. The bride wore her 3 inch heels down to 1 and, in the end, the band was called upon to deliver just one more song! “Capital Sound was a hit at our wedding! We couldn't have been happier with the way that everything turned out. Greg and I absolutely loved their performance, as well as everyone else at the wedding.
