Since 2004, Capitol Basement has entertained, hustled, and maintained an omnipresent level of hyphy-ness. Stylistic observations have ranged diversely from alt-rock to indie-pop-prog-etc-etc. However, the band strongly encourages its listeners to develop their own judgements by simply listening to the band's latest advancements in musical science.

With two previous albums under their belts, Capitol Basement has set out to diminish previous notions of their "sound" in their latest release, an unnamed EP to be unveiled in mid-2008. Close followers will be able to pick up early copies during Spring shows, as well as glimpse the work in progress on the band's Myspace.
