Cap Lori is a Seattle based one person band started by Tennessee Rose in the summer of 2008 after realizing that the name Tennessee Rose led many people to believe she played country music. Early Cap Lori performances (opening for Murder City Devils in February 2009 in both Seattle and Vancouver, several random Seattle shows, and a tour in Japan in April 2009) consisted of a pre-recorded tracks (all instruments played by Tennessee) played over an Ipod with live vocals. After returning from Japan in late April 2009 Cap Lori dropped the pre-recorded tracks and began playing electric guitar and singing live. At the moment Cap Lori splits her time between Seattle and Japan and has toured internationally with PWRFL Power, Grey Anne, Naked Hearts, and Dennis Driscoll.


Cap Lori has recently recorded and released her second CD 'Bored As A Beast' with the help of the Seattle band Triumph of Lethargy Skinned Alive to Death.

Bored As A Beast was was recorded, mixed, and produced by Dann Gallucci [The Murder City Devils, Modest Mouse, A Gun Called Tension, Triumph of Lethargy Skinned Alive to Death].
