Comics (got back into them during my year of injury, and now I'm stuck with them again), the horror genre in general, collecting hardbacks of rare horror stories, the numerous aspects of theater, MMA, the pulp era of publishing, and a host of other odds and ends.
Music
Anything that doesn't suck, which means I dislike a lot of stuff nowadays.
Movies
heh, aside from the good movies I like, I'm a huge fan of bad "b" movies, but I love all the greats, Army of Darkness, Re-animator, all that good stuff. I'm also a big comedy guy, love the classics like "some like it hot" to stuff like "Talladega Nights". Last really great movie I saw was "The Prestige"
Television
Old Twilight Zone, Masters of Horror, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, South Park, Family Guy, things about creatures that may or may not be real (how can the history channel have shows about ufo's when they aren't really...well...history yet?), sportcenter when I need to crash and can't sleep normally.
Books
I have a pretty nice collection I gotta say. I own a first print of "The King In Yellow" in pretty good condition, as well as a copy of "Best Supernatural Stories of H.P Lovecraft, which was the first popular edition of his work in hardback. I'm also on a quest to get my hands on a hardback copy of each one of Stephen King's books.
Other books on the shelf- Hauntings with art by Edward Gorey, The Works of H.G. Wells, nearly all the Del Ray TPB's of HP Lovecraft's work and other works associated with his work and the "Cthulhu Mythos". A good stock of comic book Graphic Novels. The first one I got when I was a kid was The Death of Superman, and I had to buy a new copy after I got robbed, but it holds a special spot on the shelf. And a lot more...
Heroes
Anyone with enough spine to do what they feel they're good at.

About me:
I'm your basic guy, aside from all the insanity that seems to invade my life. I'm on the road to recovery after a run-in with Cancer. Apparently the upper back pain I'd been dealing with since February of 2006 was actually a 7x4 cm tumor that had attached to my spine at the c4-t3 vertebrae. So over the course of a year of going to the hospital and being blown off by doctors who told me it was a "Sprained Neck" I woke up paralyzed on Easter of 2007. So I had to get a 9 hour surgery to repair the spine which restored my ability to move, and 6 months of chemo to kill the nasty tumor. So now I'm in remission, and I'm walking again. I won't be doing a lot of the stuff I used to be able to, like running for example, but I'm able to move pretty well, walk around fairly easily though sometimes with the aide of a cane, but I'm feeling better about life now that I know what was causing my problems for so long, and that it's resolved.
I'm a newly published horror writer as well, the first story I dared to send in for publication was actually accepted and is set to be released in the May-June issue of Shroud Magazine. I'm also working on a handful of other short stories and a novel called "The Abyss Looks Back", a lovecraft influenced story about a Detective dealing with bizarre happenings in his city.
I'm a geek who enjoys comics, horror flicks, and doing the occasional show at the local theater.
HP Lovecraft (dead), Chris Walken, Conan O'Brian, Stephen King, the cast of firefly, Robert Howard (another dead author), the guy who painted my black velvet batman painting, Seth MacFarlane, Stuart Gordan, John Carpenter, and the rest of the guys at the Masters of Horror dinners, anyone who enjoys the same stuff I do.
We went to MechaCon today Phil. You'd be so proud of your son. He dressed up, did his poses and everyone adored him. I'm sure you saw. Miss ya. -Mommabear.
You'd be proud of Napoleon, Phil, he's a superhero buff. Got him an armband today that makes noise...he was climbing every piece of furniture we have here and posing, making superhero noises to go with the poses. Also singing his superhero theme songs, which apparently, he wrote himself. I miss our conversation, Papabear.
Happy Birthday Phil. I know you are gone but I also know you are missed by your friends and family. I wish you could hear what your son says sometimes.
Phil, I will always love you. We were such good friends and you mean so much more to me than you will ever know. I had a dream about you the night I found out you passed away. You were happy and free. You can write, draw and read comic books all day now. I will see you one day again. Lots of love. And I will never forget our time in Dullsville...
rip phil...all i have to say is when and if i make it to heaven, its a no holds barred, falls count anywhere, anything goes match between Redwolf and Violator for the JWA belt. They might just kick us out of heaven for it...
RIP Phil. My thoughts and prayers will always be with you and your family. Be free of pain and continue writing from the heavens above. Gonna miss you bro, farewell.
Oh Phil... I am so sad bro. We were honored to publish your first story and it received so many good comments. So much talent. I hope, with all of my heart, that you are at peace. We miss you already. Thank you for your participation in the Shroud community.
Phil's family: if there is anything we can do, please let me know.
You will truly be missed by your friends and family. Thank you for all the times you talked to me when I was sad in the past and you cheered me up. Rest in peace
RIP my friend, you are truly loved. Now I really wish I'd made more time to play Imperian with you as cheesy as that sounds. I know you understand. But it's all good because you're disease free, pain free, and filled with the joy of freedom. You can watch your son grow up and be his guardian angel... and you can even come visit me anytime you wish. Just don't throw dishes or anything hurtful! :) I love you Phil. With all my soul.
I love you Phil. I hope that you are in a better place, free from pain, where you can write your scary stories in peace and perform amongst the stars. You will always be a dear friend and will always have a place in my heart.
