I have been scrapbooking and rubber stamping for many many years and when I have time its my favorite form of relaxation. I've taught classes all over the place.
I own an ezine called S.S. Reflections. Well, I own it but it's because of the hard work of all the crew that it is as successful as it is. I can not take the credit for that alone as everyone who is part of SSR is part of the heart of the ezine. Come by and visit us as it is full of information on techniques, product reviews and thousands of sample designs and ideas for anyone who is interested and it is completely FREE to you!
I love all kinds of music! As you can tell from my playlist! Well, there are a few exceptions...I'm not all that keen on rap and I don't care for house music a whole lot but I'll go with the flow. Having said that I do like Sean Kingston! (thanks Mitch!).
Today's Country is definitely a favorite! I love classic rock too (they call it classic and yet it was what I grew up with as a teenager...does this mean I'm classic too?). One day, and I really look forward to this...I can get in my car and listen to MY favorite radio stations and not what my oldest (and dearest) son wants to listen too!!! (just kidding Mitch your music is awesome too!) I'm fortunate that my boys love classic rock...yep, that same stuff that I grew up to!
I love classical music and Opera!! The Opera always makes me cry, there is so much passion! Unfortunately I don't have the opportunity to listen to it very often because there is usually rock playing in the background at my house! (Loudly too if I didn't say something).
I love listening to Third Day, Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Newsboys, Brandon Heath, well, I have quite an eclectic collection on my playlist of some of my favs. If you want to listen to it, here is the link: http://www.playlist.com/user/23454569/view

Heroes
Heroes to me are the police officer who patrols my neighborhood and the firefighter who gives up his nights sleep or time with his family to save lives and homes. My neighborhood seems to be the place in town for our local EMT's and police and fire department staff so we see lots of heros on the run to help. Anyone who is or has served in the military! Thank you and God Bless You!! I should add that teachers are also top on my list!!!

A LITTLE ABOUT ME:
I'm 45 and loving life! I have 3 (awesome) sons and my faithful companion...Chili (Bean) my Cocker Spaniel. I am the publisher of an ezine for scrappers and stampers and digital photography and altered artists! (S.S. Reflections)! SSR has the best designers in the industry who create amazing designs for our readers! I love having my own business as it gives me freedom to spend time with my kids!!
My kids...well, they are the reason for my being. Being a Mom is the greatest joy I've even had. At one time I would have loved a large family but I'm thankful for the 3 boys I've been blessed with. I could tell you until I'm blue in the face how awesome these three boys are but you'd have to meet them to believe it yourself. They are all so different from each other and have such fun personalities. I don't know how they can all be so different but all be so much fun to be around at the same time. Mitch is 16 and we have such a laugh all the time. he loves sharing jokes and basically being the class clown. He loves the Minnesota Vikings and NASCAR! He wants to go to the NASCAR school when he graduates and work in NASCAR...okay, there is an important update to this...Mitch has officially decided to make a career in law enforcement! He's been tossing between the two of these career choices for years and has finally decided. I'm so happy!!! Mitch will make a wonderful police officer. He's truly a young man of integrity (well, as much as teenage boy can have...) Matt is 13 and is my focused, creative child. He loves to create and build. He builds and draws amazing things and it all comes from his own ideas and thoughts. I can see Matt as an architect! Alex is 11 and he is my sportsman. Anything with a ball and Alex seems to be a natural in the sport. I think out of all the sports soccer is his favorite, he lives, eats and breathes soccer but I know if someone threw a football at him he'd be right in the middle of the game and making the touchdowns. He's such loving child. Thinks the best of everyone and just brings the best out in you just by being near him. I am so blessed to know these 3 wonderful people and to not only shape them into the men they will become but be their friend too. We have such a great time together! Laughter is a regular occurrence in our house between the 4 of us.
I've learned that I need to trust my intuition more. That forgiveness is very fulfilling and powerful. I've learned some tough lessons the hard way because I didn't trust my gut instinct the first time. But, life is good and its a matter of seeing the good in every situation. Can you tell I'm an optimistic person? Well, most of the time as I've had some down times too. But, i'm muddling my way though it!
My friends are a very important part of my life. I have a group of friends who together have given me the strength to get on with life during some amazingly difficult times. I will love them forever! It's amazing how a phone call or a quick email can come at just the perfect time...thats what friends are all about!
When all else fails there is always tea. (Did I mention that I'm a Brit?) Many of life's crisis can be solved over a cuppa tea.
I have a new blogging site. If you are interested in my boring day to day life...please feel free to visit! You will find me here at http://dawntheath.blogspot.com/
Who I'd like to meet: I don't know...I'm a pretty friendly person and enjoy creating new friendships! I guess I'm just looking for people who are looking for a true friendship. One thing, I have no tolerance for liars. There aren't levels of lies, a white lie, a fib, a slight untruth...are all lies. I've had to deal with liars for far too many years to want to deal with this ever again...so, no tolerance.
How my favorite Brit? I haven't been able to get down because I'm moving to Appleton. Between that and two jobs it's been crazy. I have some weekends off soon so I'll try to get down and see you.
Hi Dawn, no I didn't get pampered. We went to Minneapolis cause Mike is playing bass for Chad James and they had a gig up at the Metrodome for Teen Challenge. They paid for our hotel. So it was a blessing to just get away from home but it was a busy weekend. They played Friday,Saturday and Sunday Morning for a church. How are you and the boys? I can't believe summer is coming to an end soon. But hey, thanks for stopping by! God Bless ya!

Hi Dawn, Just stopping by to say hi. How are things? I was in Lake Geneva on a Women's Get Away with my church and we stopped in at Starbuck's and they had a singer songwriter performing. It was the guy you told me to vote for, John. He is really good. I was looking for you in the audience but didn't see you. Anyway, have a blessed day!
Hi Dawn, just stopping by to say hi and that I'm looking forward to all of us getting together again on Saturday! I hope all of you are doing better. Nathan is doing better and so is Mike. I haven't gotten it thus far. I used alot of my Shaklee Basic G (germacide) and dissinfected like crazy! Anyway, have a blessed week!
