Hey Alex,
How cool was the outdoor cinema! It started to rain towards the end so they cancelled breakfast but it was still a great night. I was very proud of myself for staying awake- only slept through about 10 mins of beneath clouds. You goin to the gatecrash meetup at the thistle? I'm not sure if I'll make it as have to get a plane at 7am next morning. Oh and I'm heading to a huge jazz festival in the south of france- I don't really know anything about it but apparently it's the biggest in Europe. I figured that since I'm going to be staying 1/2 hr from where it's held may as well go and check it out. Hopefully catch up soon- try not to fall asleep next time. :) Soph

Hey Bundy, the loss of two cinema legends in one day. Long live Ingmar Bergman and Michelangelo Antonioni. Especially through their films.

Burton fest this weekend man, Batman, Batman Returns & Corpse Bride; after my viewing experience I feel like doing two things: (a) Telling danny Elfman I love him & (b) making a movie. Come back here & we'll make a movie.

Also revisited The New World the other day and it broke me. Amazing. The Apartment, that Frrronch thing with our fave Monica Belluci, that woman is something else.

So tell me what's happening Kev? What have you watched recently? Have you found a French girl who digs the Kevin?

Ta.

No, Greg & I haven't been playing together much of late. We seem to be forever bailing on rehearsal. We're supposed to have a practice tomorrow so hopefully that happens. Still playing solo shows although it's probably time I started to concentrate more heavily on writing. Chris said he's going to be out here for a few days next week so hopefully I'll get to see him.

How very bizarre?

Although I do like the look of half Japanese / half Norweigan women and admire their tolerance.

Wow, don't think I've ever heard this song.

I will call you soon, promise. But right now I've got to make my bed, sit on the can for a while and then close my eyes and think of a happy place.

I meant to tell you not to get drunk too often, I don't want you returning with your whole trip a series of Kevin patented black outs.

Hey it's you, Captain Keggles, i thought of something you can say to the French girls, It works, trust me: "j'mapplle Alex, je suis Australien, j'abite Australie, vu le vous couchez avec moi, se soir?" But you'll have to sing it. It only works when you sing it.

-Cayles

ps. Shakey the camera assistent said "Hi, how are ya?" I don't know him.

Kevin,

Your profile photo reminds me of a footnote I recently glossed over in my reading of Proust:

'Jean-Baptiste Prosper Bressant (1815-86) was a well known actor who introduced a new hairstyle which consisted of wearing the hair in a crew-cut in front and longer at the back.'

Bressant, that mother fucker invented the mullet. Your trip has inadvertently retraced the lineage of the mullet to its sacred origins. Well done Kevin, well done.

Bobby Brown, sick.
