Captain Anstis is a band about heavy hitting, beer drinking, face melting, moshtastic metal fun.
Captain Anstis is a hardworking Metal/Hardcore band with a focused yet tongue in cheek sound. It’s like rock music put through a death filter. It’s lyrically satirical. It’s what would have happened if you gave 18th century pirates on galleons electric guitars. It’s like Bruce Willis. See you at the bar.
The History
Thomas Anstis was a British pirate that was active during the years of 1718 until 1723.
At first, Thomas sailed with Captain Howell Davis until he was killed in June 1719. He then signed on with Captain Bartholomew Robert. When Captain Robert captured a brigantine in the West Indies, Thomas Anstis was made captain of the Good Fortune. Not long after, he stole the ship and went off on his own.
Captain Thomas Anstis was known throughout the Caribbean. He plundered several merchant ships and seized the ship Morning Star. At this time, John Fenn was put in the charge as captain by Captain Anstis.
In 1723, Fenn’s ship was lost during a battle; he hid in the woods near Tobago however, he was discovered. He was tried as a pirate and was hung at Antigua.
Sometime later, Captain Anstis’ crew mutinied and he was murdered by his crew.
...and the sailours of Good Fortune were never seen again.

I hope you don't mind my asking, but please vote for "Door To AnimA. In Embryo" near the bottom of the page at The East Coast Countdown
You don't have to register or anything and it only takes a second. Please help an independent band and vote for them. I'm sure they would return the favor:)
To be absolutly blunt... a CD. I'll email you the address. I'm listening to 'We Ride' again, and I still think the screaming vocals is something I cant get use to, but atleast you combine it with actual singing. The disjointed riffs at the begining were prety cool. Visualy (the pic of you guys at the top) you dont look like a screamo band. your too happy! 8 minutes!! Bloody 'ell... I'l let it play through... is that a hidden track? awsome! I think my favorite tune is Walk My Plank. Peace (Auzzy)
