Following on from their critically acclaimed singles ‘The Terrorist’ and ‘Merrow Song’ Nottingham’s Captain Dangerous release their 2nd single with Danqua Records after having recently toured the UK as part of their ‘Take Away Tour’, which saw them perform live in numerous town and city centres with violins, a glockenspiel, mandolin, melodica, double bass and a healthy dose of vocal harmonies.
‘I Miss You Cos It’s Monday’ is another chunk of genuinely heartfelt off kilter pop music and includes ‘B’ sides ‘Shoot Deserters’ and ‘Terry Steele’ (Take Away Version).
This release is sure to see Captain Dangerous continue their assault on the British music scene.

In 2008 the band, sponsored by BMI Baby, embarked on a festival tour of the Czech Republic, including playing in a decommissioned Cold War-era nuclear fall out shelter 33 metres under the streets of central Prague. The band have also performed on the Levi's “Ones to Watch Tour”, the Jack Daniels JD set, and were chosen in a public vote from over 100 bands to be the opening act for the weekend long music festival to celebrate the newly reopened Market Square in Nottingham.
Captain Dangerous will release their third single through Danqua records "Everything Beautiful Reminds Me Of You" on February 1st 2010 and perform a homecoming single launch show two weeks before at Nottingham's Rock City on Friday January 14th.
