Bio:

Captain Hammond is the brainchild of Mother Earth's Hammond hero Bryn Barklam. With Greg Boraman and Pete Collison of The Fantastics on drums and guitar, and Bryn's left hand on bass, Captain Hammond mixes Hammond-heavy cosmic rock, gospel, 60's R&B and Northern Soul to create ground-shaking organ workouts that'll knock the MECHANAUTS (the Captain's arch-enemies) into the next dimension!

An audio-visual extravaganza, the Hammond Organ Power Trio's anthemic instrumentals act as a swirling soundtrack to the manga-inspired exploits of the galaxy's greatest valve-powered super-being: half man, half organ, all hero… Captain Hammond!

In 2007 HAMMONDBEAT released the COSMIC CANDY! EP, followed by the LP THE ORIGIN OF CAPTAIN HAMMOND, which resulted in a live session on BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson Show.
