there is not alot that beats a really great ride on my motorcycle. there is this place near where i live that is called Waterton National Park. now the park itself is really great, but if you head south into the states... oh man. if you've never been there i just can not explain it. i'll give it a try ok? it makes me say: " i shouldn't be alowed to be here!", "i feel like getting off of my motorcycle and dancing!", "i could die happy here!", "i need to share this feeling!". put it this way: i took the best route to mexico a few years ago, and saw ALOT of crazy shit. on the way home we came up through the "logan pass", or "glacier national park", "road to the sun", or "waterton national park" (alot of names for the same place), and this was still by far (tho in a different way) THE best part of the trip. we travelled aprox. 13000 kms or 8000miles and the best part of the trip was only a half hour away from home. i love having a passenger, Kristine(my wife) makes a great passenger, but if she's not able to come then i'll totally take you. if i like you.
please keep in mind that i don't just throw around capitals or exclamation points, ever.

these three movies can make me cry each time i watch them, and i want to watch them everyday to help me become the man i strive to be: "life is beautiful", "amelie", and "les mis". there are alot of other movies that i really enjoy: the life aquatic, i heart huckabees, the big lebowski, oh brother where art tho?, lost in translation, anchorman, the motorcycle diaries, conspiracy theory,
easyrider, the great escape, ferris beullers day off, the waking life, shaun of the dead, the eternal sunshine, punch drunk love, the royal tenenbaums, meet joe black, fight club ( i wish i could watch that movie for the first time again), lock stock and two smoking barrels, kill bill, pulp fiction, sin city (one of the best and worst movies ever), kung-fu hustle, crouching tiger hidden dragon, house of the flying daggers, hero, groundhog day (watch it every year), game of death, the matrix, lord of the rings trilogy, the truman show, dumb and dumber, nausicaa, spirited away (any Hayao Miyazaki film), napoleon dynamite. little miss sunshine...and on and on.
i hardly ever watch tv. just movies, and music videos...

About me:
this site is proving to be a decent creative outlet for me. i haven't really nurtured my creative side in a while. i enjoy dreaming, drawing, writing, thinking. my purpose in life is showing itself to be to have fun and love. if im going to be here (anywhere really) i want to enjoy myself as well as improve myself. im a little good at alot of things, but not really a master of one certain thing. lemme think of some things i can do... i like to dance, percussion, the guitar, i've got an ear for languages, fix things around the house (ie. take em apart and back again), been motorcycling for years, cook, bake, and BBQ (especially the latter), i enjoy knowing useless facts (coca-cola was origanally green, the only food product that doesnt spoil is made by bugs= honey), i am an excellent shot (bow and rifle), im quite agile (frontflip and back), master of any board sport (altho still learning to surf, read: i suck), ive got a stanton fader and 2 turntables, aquarium and terrarium owner (in fact i once built a combonation of the two). ok lets get into what ive got (read: bad case of pack-rat-ism): a loving wife, 2 cars, 1 truck, 3 motorcycles, a house, a workshop, a great job, stocks and retirement fund, 1 skate board, 2 snowboards, old organ, drum set, welder. oh this is getting too long and boring isnt it? yeah.
im into alot of things. you can know me for years and i'll still surprise you. for example i like to teach myself to enjoy the things that i dont. ie: i'm teaching myself to enjoy eating fish. i now love the smell of a skunk (its actually quite pleasant). you see i like to ask myself "why don't i like that?"
someone once told me "small things amuse small minds" to which i replied: "if you think this is a small thing, you are the one with the small mind." i am not usually so bold. that is just something that really bothers me. how many people do you think said something like that to Einstein when he was contemplating something during math class?
i enjoy fear. im afraid of hieghts. so as a child one of my favorite things to do (would still be if i wasnt so heavy, 185lbs) was to climb to the very top of a tree and just sit there as it swayed in the wind. i love to hold spiders, snakes. i like to scare myself. take a corner too fast on a motorcycle. i consider myself to be a great driver. the world is my racetrack. i love to drive stick. you may not want to be in the car with me when im having a good time on the road. i have upgraded my acura integra to be very sticky to the road, and thats part of what i love about my austin mini.
as a result i can enjoy alot of things. i really love to love things. im easily facinated. you could say that im a dork. you could say alot of things about me, but you know what they say about the one who throws the first stone? what im trying to say is im constantly changing, and its not a great idea to judge me ( look at me now. sorry. ill judge you too)
some things that i love: walking in the rain (especially listening to it at night) and in the heavy snowfall, finding a frog, all animals, listening to music, watching a great movie that i havent heard anything about, dressing in layers for the fall, caves, i'll pull over on the highway to watch a bird flying, also to watch the stars at night (making a wish on a shooting star), eating a great homecooked meal (thank you Kristine), a great conversation, listening to a great new tune/band, taking a great photo, also looking at a great photo (props to micheal weiss, he took the b/w photo of us on the bridge, altho it was my idea. heh), love, travelling and especially being on a great curvy scenic route (also see going too fast), meeting a great new person of similar interests or just simply interesting, playing poker, playing in general, pirates (sorry begonia), flowers: my favorite jasmine, not conforming to the norm. i've got 5 sisters, so im alittle bit of a softy (so what?)
im the guy who answers with a real answer when someone asks "hows it going, or whats up?" (altho i sometimes like to say "you're up". this way i'll know if they really wanted to know what is up). im the guy that likes to tip too much when the service impressed me. im the guy that has bad allergies but still had to have a cat. im the guy in the hat, but not a baseball cap, actually i have been wearing baseball caps again, i'm just so dang raveshing in them. im the guy who likes most to sit in a booth against the window in a cafe. im the guy who carries a bug and lets it back outside instead of squishing it (after first examining it). i love to sit on the heat register with a blanket as a tent, when im cold.

Who I'd like to meet: im on here for friends. be friend or not be friend. i am a people lover. altho i can get really sad on how sheepish we are (why do we hate on the black sheep?), i still enjoy the lot of ya (ok me too). i really love to be surounded by people in a large crowd. im the guy that watches the peoples faces light up while everyone else is watching the fireworks.
