About me:
Some random facts: I prefer 'mom and pop' restaurants to the fancy 5 star ones. I love ice-cream--it's one of my favorite foods. My favorite flavor is Rocky Road (and only if it's made with real marshmellows). I can speak several languages fluently. I took a semester off of school to do hurricane relief in the Gulf Coast after Katrina had her way. Some of my happiest days were spent in an inner city center with 40+ kids that I would call my own. I would like to adopt and wouldn't want to be with anyone who doesn't. I would rather be poor and happy than rich and content. I grew up with Mike Tyson and Andy Roddick as my neighbors. Chris Carrabba taught me to strum my first chord. I love war movies and the occasional chick flick. I eat Chinese food (and lots of it) when I am homesick or depressed. I would love to live in England for a year. My dream vacation spot would be somewhere in the Mediterranean. My most prized possession is a firefighter angel pin that I received from a firefighter from Ladder 1 in NY after 9/11. I am a dreamer. I am an adventurer. I can’t wait to have a Great Dane. I hate living in Los Angeles. I ramble a lot when I am a pessimist. I’m nervous. I can be really shy. I am the life of the party. I love meeting new people. I have a blood brother—Bryce Alan Landwehr. I laugh like a donkey. I can be a bit insecure. I am very indecisive. I would rather eat vegetables than meat, simply because I don’t have to cook veggies. I still believe in true love. When I am stressed I crawl into the bathtub with a glass of red wine and unwind to Herbie Hancock. I’m allergic to alcohol-I often break out in hives and swell up like a balloon. My idea of relaxing is a trip to the park with a hot cup of tea and a book by Donald Miller. I fall in love with strangers. I love being occupied—it makes me feel productive. I spent four months in Uganda delivering babies. I use to be a fire-medic. I still believe there are good people in this world, even if I’m not one of them.
Who I'd like to meet:
To be honest, I love meeting new people--anyone. Though I may come off as shy at first, you won't be able to shake me off once I get to know you.
