Wer wie er aus dem Süden kommt, der hat den Blues – denn auch Thüringen liegt irgendwie im Süden. Irgendwann nach dem Millennium verschlug es Siggi ''Captain'' Bley dann nördlich direkt hinein nach Berlin-City. Natürlich spielt er hier in einer Band - Heaven Roads. Aber daneben gibt es viele Gigs, in denen er mit den Händen die Gitarre und dazu mit den Füßen die Percussion spielt. Dabei basiert dieses begleitende Spielen mit Fuß-Percussion auf einer fast schon vergessenen Blues-Tradition aus dem Mississippi-Delta. Und so erklingt ein Sound mit stark bluesigem Einschlag, ehrlich und erdig.

Besides that he plays a lot of gigs, where he simultaniously plays the guitar with his hands and percussions with his feet. This accompanying feet play is based on a almost forgotten blues tradition originated from the region around the Mississippi delta. And that's how it sounds: bluesy, sincere, and grounded.
