What has been influencing Trent recently you ask?:
The Standish has been on hiatus since the 19th of September 2008. No plans for a reunion show or shows have been made, but Trent, Jake and Josh have not ruled one out, it simply depends on if it feels right. All three members are currently taking on other musical projects, see our top friends to check those out.
Finding its beginnings in the dark murky depths of 2004, Captain Standish began as an effort for Trent and Jake to play music together, and since then it has been ever evolving from hundreds of songs from collections of demos Trent has put together over the years (a few of which can be listened to here), along with songs that Jake and Josh have thrown into the mix as well. Plans have been forth to record our vast repertoire and make them available to you for download and enjoy. In the mean time come watch us kick your ass live.
