About me:
I'm an actor, and am currently also a producer on Z: A Zombie Musical. I retired after teaching 34 years. Harry Knowles and Wiley Wiggins are my best known former students. I taught 8 years in San Antonio and 26 in Austin, the last 24 at Lamar Middle School. I was born in California, but lived there only 8 weeks. I lived in NJ for 10 years, not too far from NYC. Lived in KC 6 years where I attended a fantastic boys' prep school (Pem Day), then moved to San Antonio, where i finished high school. Went to Kingsville (Texas A&I Univ) for college (our school won the NAIA nat'l championship in football sr year) where I was in the band (which went to LA & won the Internat'l Lions Parade). Got my BA in math and then a 2nd BA in history and an MA in history (with a thesis on Shawn Phillips). Moved to Austin in '75.
