"In India, those of us who have expressed views on Nuclear Bombs, Big Dams, Corporate Globalization and the rising threat of communal Hindu fascism - views that are at variance with the Indian Government's - are branded 'anti- national.' While this accusation doesn't fill me with indignation, it's not an accurate description of what I do or how I think. Because an 'anti-national' is a person who is against his or her own nation and, by inference, is pro some other one. But it isn't necessary to be 'anti-national' to be deeply suspicious of all nationalism, to be anti-nationalism. Nationalism of one kind or another was the cause of most of the genocide of the twentieth century. Flags are bits of colored cloth that governments use first to shrink-wrap people's brains and then as ceremonial shrouds to bury the dead. When independent- thinking people (and here I do not include the corporate media) begin to rally under flags, when writers, painters, musicians, film makers suspend their judgment and blindly yoke their art to the service of the "Nation," it's time for all of us to sit up and worry. In India we saw it happen soon after the Nuclear tests in 1998 and during the Cargill War against Pakistan in 1999. In the U.S. we saw it during the Gulf War and we see it now during the "War Against Terror." That blizzard of Made-in-China American flags."___________Arundhati Roy, author and activist____________

hello and thanx for pulling me out of mySwamp. that's strange music, picking, singing - like it very much. what are you doing now? e.p. was in 2004, right? new tunes?
So. The concert went well the other night :) I ended up going to a bar with the guys afterward and we all sat around a big table talking the whole time about a bunch of stuff. It was really fun. We closed the place down.
Also, I talked to their manager about you, as well as Action At A Distance, and then linked him to you through myspace. Given that the manager is Scandinavian, if my linking helps anyone, it'd probably be for Andreas, but y'know. May help out a bit. :)
Write some blogs! Post some news! I know you're rather into what the US and the rest of the world are doing, post interesting articles or youtube links. Preferably articles.
And post more music.
Particularly since I don't get to talk to you much anymore. Damned DNC, they're keeping me rather busy, mate.
Take care, Cory. As always, loving the sounds. (And right now I'm listening to "Rotting Christ".)
