I tend to be guarded but approachable, trusting but wary, serious but with no (well, maybe a few) soapboxes or hidden agenda. I endeavor to be generous, grateful, committed. I love books, trees, beautiful buildings, art, literature, and music. I love starry skies, moonlit nights, the rising sun, mountain crests, white- billowy clouds, torrential rain, bolts of thunder, the flash of lightning, prismatic rainbows, waterfalls, windy days... I love the way hummingbirds move their wings and the color of blue jays and the flutter by of butterflies... I love time spent on my own... but love time with my beautiful children even more.

I want to meet simple, easy going people with a little bit of substance about them. I like eccentric people. People with many interests and layers like onions. I like to have stimulating conversation, especially with people who have something to share or who can teach me something. I love wit, and to have a witty exchange. Are these people still out there?
I also have hopes of meeting Pablo Neruda, Ansel Adams, Jack Kerouac, Dali, Vonnegut, and my Grandmothers in Heaven for long days of coffee and glorious conversations.

    Oh Girl, I read the Shack back in May and Yes like you it was at a time in my life I needed it.  However landing at the airport in uncontrolable sobs, I thought they were going to detain me.  I then passed the book on to Shane and after a few weeks he started reading it.  Through that book he heard God speak to him.  It's been a rough year, but getting better daily.  and before I forget, I have to tell you something...It gets REALLY FREAKIN COLD IN EUROPE!!! I left there in August wearing a fleece pullover!  I so remember the bitter winds and cold sweeping across my face as I parused the markets and went from shop to shop.  I really miss you too.  by time we get to hang out again we will be having Teens!

    Thanks! Its just people at my husband's work screwing him over. Its just really getting on my nerves. We should get together some time though! My van is broken so I am stuck at home during the week. We could get together anytime on the weekends though. Just let me know when you are free.
