   About Cardboard Brains
Cardboard Brains were formed in September of 1976. Founded by singer / songwriter / actor John Paul Young and guitarist / songwriter, Vince Carlucci. Between 1976 and 1984 , there were many versions of this band as is evident by the varied song styles and instrumentation. The 2 constants were Paul and Vince throughout the 8 year life-span of this band. The members depicted in the photo: John Paul Young, Vince Carlucci, Patrick Gregory, Michael Keena, were responsible for the most popular recording, known as " The Black EP". This was also the most popular version of the band, as this recording received (arguably) the most critical aclaim, and airplay. Albeit, their version of "Stepping Stone" and "Babies Run My World" (Last Pogo Film and LP) still generates interest. To list all of the players and recordings and etc here would take much space, so feel; free to write if you're interested in more details, otherwise checkout "Basic Info" for more.
