The Gold Coast: where surf, skate and club culture provide the perfect lifestyle balance for an emerging four piece alternative punk band. The ultimate breeding ground for a Californian-esque rock band comprised of four good looking boys out to meet some pretty girls.
The band is made up of school mates Brendan Munday – guitars/vocals, Steve Gray – guitar/vocals, Dave Palmer – drums, Ash Priest – bass, influenced heavily from bands such as Brand New, Jimmy Eat World, and The Clash. Their sound is driven by raw guitars, layered vocals and heartbreak melodies.
The band first took the stage in early 2007 to a packed house at Brisbane’s The Troubadour finishing a close runner up in the Queensland final of Faster Louder’s Garage to V’s competition. They have since been played on Triple J’s Short Fast Loud and their most recent single Bring in the New Year featured in the top 10 on Channel V’s Channel U program for 8 weeks after its April release.
