in my loneliness i stare into open space

as if i can conjure up your lovely face,

time passes so slow when missing love,

like a nightmare i can't seem to wake up,



whenever i do it seems i had  no sleep,

oh mystery lady i am in need,

my soul bleeds through my pen,

all i need is just a female friend,



whenever i strobe through the world,

i always see couples rather shopping,

or at the movies,everyone has somebody

but me even that blue bird singing in the tree,



oh how my heart aches through my pen,

all i need is a female yes a lady friend,

standing in line lady takes my order at the counter,

she smiles so do i ,can't help but wonder ,



could she be interested or is it i just want her to,

i pick up my bags say thank you as
the line behind me,

grows impatient the vibes are so revealing as i begin thinking

 if she only views me as another costumer ,



oh well somethings are not for me to know

as i head for the door i see the vision of her

coming like the gentleman  i am i open the door,

she smiles says thank you and i wonder ,



in this hustle  bustle world hurrying to and fro ,

no one has time to hold conversations any more,

always in a rush to hurry up to wait,oh what a waste,

tomorrows another day to began the dance again,



how my spirit seeks the company that my pen bleeds,

in this world i just want someone for me,

a female friend to  spend sometime with,

oh how my life never fails to recite it,



tire of being alone in this big old world,<bR
