BIO: Combo suisse aux origines hispaniques, mélangeant rock n roll, stoner, groove, hardcore et métal alors que le chant en espagnol apporte les racines latines. A la tête du groupe on retrouve le membre fondateur Ricardo Diges (chanteur et compositeur), Julien Emery à la guitare, à la basse Raphael Örtis et aujourd'hui remplacé par Nacho 'Machete', et enfin à la batterie on retrouve Michel Maurer.
PARCOURS:
2000 : formation du groupe qui forge sa personnalité, son style et son
expérience sur les planchers régionaux.
2002 : sortie de la première démo « Dévaluation of Art ».
2004 :sortie du mini-album 5 titres « Vivir » (single-club) produit par PTR, belle série de concerts avec entre autres des groupes espagnols (Dover, Beholder (BHR), Kuraia).
2005 :Début d enregistrement de lalbum « Levantando a los Muertos ». Concerts.
2006 : Concerts. Création du label genevois Putos Records. Sortie de premier album. Sortie du morceau « Mi gente » sur le label américain Turkey Vulture Records. Tournage du vidéo clip « Dinero » signé Julien Wey. Morceau « Dinero » sur le sampler de Metal Hammer Espagne (septembre 06). Passage du vidéoclip à la television sur TSR2 dans le programme 'Garage', à deux réprises invités pour interview en direct et concours t-shirts et cd's du nouvel album de CardiaC. Enregistrement d'un concert pour la television Suisse Romande, diffusé le samedi 3 février 2007.
L'album connaît en Espagne un grand succés et des trés bonnes critiques au niveau des magazines spécialisés (Kerrang!, Metal hammer, Heavy Rock, Los + Mejores, etc), radios (radio3, Europa FM, etc) ainsi qu'en France et en Suisse (Transit, Couleur3, Daily-Rock, Rock Hard, etc) et surtout du public (qui connaît ldéjà la voix de Ricardo Diges (chanteur aussi du groupe Madrilien Beholder (BHR)).

La banda ginebrina Cardiac formada en el 2000 por Ricardo Diges (cantante de la banda madrileña BEHOLDER (BHR)) practica un estilo fusional de rock 'n' roll, harcore, stoner, y métal a la busqueda constante del groove y de las raices hispánicas. El grupo esta también compuesto por Raf (bajo), Julien (guitarra), Miche (bateria).
En 2002 Cardiac produce su primera démo Dévaluation of Art que les permite girar hasta febrero 2004, año determinante pues sacan un mini-album de 5 canciones "Vivir" por el label ginebrino PTR y propulsa la banda dentro del escenario centro europeo teloneando bandas como DOVER, KURAIA, SYBREED,etc. El escenario es la raiz de la música de Cardiac que les ha llevado a grabar con madurez su prometedor primer album. En enero 2007 saldrá su tema "Mi Gente" en el label americano Turkey Vulture Records del estado de Wisconsin (recopilatorio The Harder, The Better).
Una vez sacado su album 'Levantando a los muertos' la banda ha sido invitada en dos ocasiones por la televisión suiza (TSR2 en el programa 'Garage') y su vidéoclip 'Dinero' (realizado por Julien Wey) en la cadena nacional pasa varias veces en horas de máxima audiencia.
El último trabajo de CardiaC recibe el aplauso de la critica en España en revistas y radios como una de las promesas del rock extremo internacional representantes de las raices hispánicas (Kerrang!, Metal hammer, Heavy Rock, Los + Mejores, etc), radios (radio3, Europa FM, etc) como tambien en Francia y Suiza (Transit, Couleur3, Daily-Rock, Rock Hard, etc).
El disco titulado Levantando A los muertos ha sido producido, grabado y mézclado por Sam Albert (productor de la banda suiza NOSTROMO, en los estudios Uranus y Studio du Flon (SAINT GERMAIN) en Ginebra y Lausanne. El disco ha sido masterizado en Sterling Sound de Nueva York por el ilustre George Marino ( METALLICA/ MACHINE HEAD/ AC/DC,ect). En total el número de canciones seleccionadas son doce sobre quince, que representan alrededor de 47 minutos. El trabajo efectuado ha sido presentado le 2 de noviembre 2006 y saldrá con la compañía Putos Records.

Cardiac has been training since the year 2000 in a style mixing rock 'n' roll, harcore, stoner and metal, with the groove of the Latin roots being provided by the Spanish lyrics. Its first demo in 2002, Devaluation of Art, led Cardiac on a concert tour until 2004, year in which it issues its mini album 'Vivir ' (5 songs) with the PTRs support. This line-up is formed by Michel Maurer(drums), Nacho "Machete" (bass), Julien Emery (guitar) and Ricardo Diges (vocal and singer of the spanish band 'Beholder (BHR)'). Their hard work is now bearing fruit mainly after having shared a good series of concerts with other groups (for instance, the Spanish Dover, Beholder (BHR), Kuraia) and having recorded its first album.
The Swiss quartet Cardiac, although of Spanish origin, is currently looking for gigs. This group has built up its particular personality on the stage and its strong will to go beyond frontiers has pushed it to record enough material to issue its latest high quality album.
This album, called 'levantando a los muertos' ('Rising the dead' ), aviaible on Putos Records, has been produced, recorded and mixed by Sam Albert (NOSTROMO) at Uranus Studio in Geneva, then at Flon Studio in Lausanne (SAINT GERMAIN) and masterised at Sterling Sound in New York by George Marino (METALLICA /MACHINE HEAD / HATEBREED, etc). Twelve songs, out of fifteen, have been kept to issue this record (around 47 minutes) which is available as from the 2nd november 2006. The artwork has been done by Jaja (NOSTROMO)- Hardcore Solution Graphix.
The new album is a succés in Spain , Switzerland ( few times on national TV TSR2 for their vidéoclip 'Dinero' produced by Julien Wey, where CardiaC have recorded a 45 minutes of show (who will be diffused for the Swiss TV TSR2) and France, where the critic is 'excellent' (Kerrang!, Metal hammer, Heavy Rock, Los + Mejores, etc), radios (radio3, Europa FM, etc) in France and Switzerland (Transit, Couleur3, Daily-Rock, Rock Hard, etc), as a very promising international band. The single 'Mi gente' is SOON aviable on USA on the compilation 'The Harder, The Better' by Turkey Vulture Records.

Es muy importante para nosotros, que se pueda conocer nuestro trabajo, 15 años no se pueden resumir en un disco o en un comentario, pero si creemos, que la mejor forma de poder mostrarlo es con todo nuestro trabajo o al menos en buena parte de ello. Para ello hemos querido juntar una buen cantidad de discos que recorra nuestra trayectoria en los últimos tiempos y darle a todo ello un precio accesible a cualquiera y 20 discos editados por FRAGMENT MUSIC, por 50 Euros, creemos y queremos que sea una buena oportunidad para conocer mejor de donde venimos y desde luego a donde vamos. Por que si algo nos gusta por encima de cualquier cosa es la música y desde luego en 15 años hemos tenido tiempo para vivirla y sufrirla muy activamente, ahora queremos que en este viaje tambíen nos acompañes tu..........espero que te animes hacerlo.
