OXJAM CARDIFF CHILL 2009: THE JAZZ SESSIONS
New for 2009! Ahead of the Oxjam Cardiff Chill 2009 festival in March, The Jazz Sessions (a new strand for the festival) hopes to promote and nurture the talents of young people.
On Saturday 28 February, the festival featured the talents of the 'Lil Big Band', a 22 piece big band, who include a mixture of classic swing, funk and latin numbers to suit any occasion within their repertoire.
The band played at 'The Jazz Sessions' as part of a brief tour of South Wales from 26 February- 1 March.
All proceeds from the evening went to Oxfam
The gig took place at Tommy's Bar, Howard Gardens, Cardiff.
OXJAM CARDIFF SWAP 2008/09!
The Oxjam Cardiff Swap 2008/09 started a new chapter!
We are now looking for someone to swap our wonderful 'The Golden Compass' DVD Game for something else just as exciting!
The game followed a successful swap between the book titled 'Organic Places to Stay in the UK' and the bag of fair-trade coffee
This means that we now have a new item to swap, and the stakes are starting to get high ;)
The Recommended Swapping Value is now £30.
All offers of swaps can either be sent through this account or emailed over to me at luke.todd@yahoo.co.uk
Let the swapping continue ;)

Thanks for reading all of this. If you enjoyed it why not leave a message to brighten up my day. If you hated it, you can still leave a message as it might cause some amusement, however if you ask any philosophical questions (eg. What is the meaning of life?) then I cannot guarantee to be able to answer!
I DJ on Hosptial Radio Glamorgan on Saturday mornings from 7-9am on Your Wake-up Call Live.
