Four lads, passionate hearts and free expression make what Cardinal Avenue is now. Having started in late 2006, these young lads hope to entice the innocent ear to the melodic happiness and serene mayhem that CA generates through sweat on guitar strings.
The quartet that make up CA are Prahlad (Vocals and Guitars), John (Drums), Faris (Guitars) and Brice (Bass). CA creates a myriad of sound that goes from happy indie pop rock to a heavy palm-muted in-your-face wall of sound. CA tries their best not to limit their sound to just the social conformity but are constantly looking around for new sounds and ideas.
CA write mostly about the society, love, taking-it-easy, and human emotions that somehow tickle the minds of CA. Staying true to themselves they constantly write with free expression.
Playing numerous gigs has made CA a much experienced band now. CA has made it a point in their hearts to make people leave their shows feeling euphoric, in awe and yearning to watch another one.
CA is now expecting an EP to be out late August 2008 and has never been as elated as before. This EP hopes to be the ticket to CA’s dreams and goals. Playing Baybeats in 2008, CA has seen change in themselves and wishes to change the world.
It’s going to be one hell of a ride on the Cardinal Avenue experience – the rest, is simply up to you.

Hello! We finally got around to doing a rough recording of our orignal that we named 'The first', How fitting! Have a listen and tell us what you think =D
We have changed our drummer. exit Rino, Enters Adam
Hammerson. Rino has left Vermillion due to scholastic reasons! :) and
we definitely wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
For
the month of July, we have three shows lined up. this coming
saturday,4th July 09, it will be Adam's very first show with us. It
will be held at *scape and tickets are being sold at $6. Event is
called BREAK THE CHAINS! and we will be the first band up at 4pm. :)
