It's the lyrics thing that I find the hardest - I have a lot of rage and angst (of course, as most people do) that I want to get out into song, but I can never express myself elegantly enough. But I just have to keep reminding myself that I'm not as bad a lyricist as I think... I mean, most of the lyrics in pop music are terrible anyway. Also, someone told me that it's not the talent that matters, it's what you do with your talent that counts... I try to live by that philosophy.
Oh, and I think that this is a good place to tell you that your poetry is bloody amazing. I can't help but envy your talent... but in a good way.
