Her voice grabs attention via purity and realism. All-in-all, Carissa is a true stylist. After I aired her "Some Heroes Don't come Back", my listeners responded in a big way. Her new CD consists of a perfect mixture. I receive requests for her "works" on a regular basis. This beautiful lady is a shining light. I am certain her light will glow brighter with every release. She is a winner! -Bill Mack Grammy-winning songwriter; Member of the Country Music Disk Jockey Hall-of- Fame in Nashville With an electric performance energy and a vocal purity unlike any other, Carissa Amberly a 17 year old Singer/Songwriter from Longview, Texas is breaking onto the music scene trailing a growing number of fans. Her rich vocals combined with sincere country and gospel music written by some of today's top songwriters have produced her first solo album, Letters (2007). This past year, Carissa has been both in the recording studio and on the stage. After winning first place in the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame talent showcase in August 2006, Carissa was immediately given the opportunity to sing in a music show that would later welcome the Gatlin Brothers, Billy Joe Shaver, Jack Greene, and Casey Rivers to the same stage. As a part of her prize package, Carissa was awarded a trip to Branson, MO to guest perform on the shows hosted by Mickey Gilley, Hamner Barber, Jim Owen, Jim Stafford, and Doug Gabriel. Now that the whirlwind affects of the contest have slowed down, Carissa has been performing in and around East Texas for audiences large and small- including The Great American Trucking Show with Truckers Complete in August 2006, 2007, and 2008. A fundraiser performance with Louie Gohmert in October 2006, and even President George W. Bush and 10,000 others at the Presidental Rally on October 30, 2006 in Sugarland Texas. Whether she's singing in front of fans or strangers, Carissa's energetic performance captures audiences with sincerity in song and style. Word of her outstanding talent is spreading far and fast. Carissa's background in music is one grounded in honest country style and nurtured by gospel truth. She started performing in local opry's as a young girl, and has since grown into a beautiful young lady with a mature style and a sound uniquely her own. Her growing popularity among true veterans of country music is taking her into wider horizons in the country music industry, and with an increasing number of fans of Letters (2007) few can argue with her aspirations for the top of the charts. .. ............

JUST WANT TO SAY HELLO AND SEND MY LOVE.I HAVE NOT REALLY BEEN ON THE COMPUTER MCH IN DAYS.I HAVE BEEN IN SO MUCH PAIN SINCE MY WRECK.COULDNT TAKE BUT ONE DAY OFF FROM WORK AND HAVE BEEN HAVING SOME LONG AND CRAZY HOURS.BEEN COMMING HOME TAKING TAKING PAIN MEDS AND TRYING TO SLEEP A FEW HOURS JUST TO GET UP AND DO IT AGAIN.BUT AS I SAID BEFORE I AM THANKFUL TO BE ALIVE TO HURT.I AM VERY BLESSED.I LOVE AND MISS YOU WHEN I AM UNABLE TO AT LEAST SAY HELLO ONCE IN A WHILE.HAD FRIENDS SHOW SO MUCH CONCERN FOR ME AT THIS TIME.SADLY HAD FAMILY THAT DIDNT.I HAVE THE BEST FRIENDS ANYWHERE.THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL
