Mandi, this song is now one of my favorites. Its rich and melodic, and you sound beautiful, as always. I too have experience fighting in a war to survive, and I find that the song resonates very strongly with my own personal emotions and experiences in many ways. Of course, that's why I began listening to you in the first place. ;-)
