The ears are all yours! You can listen to all my track and new buddhist rock from the JJI Exile Brothers in The Chevstar MP3 Music Store.
I returned to Northumberland in 2004 to begin recording a stack of songs I'd been working on and to be back 'home'. And it's great to be back! My inspiration is in nature and people - it's in the heather-filled moors and hills, and in the windy, sandy, golden white beaches of the North of England; my music is also loosely about how we live.
Travelling has provided a backdrop to some of the songs: there's a preacher's words from Smalltown, USA in 'Gold'; a Swami Durgananda guru from India in Electric Krishna (this microphone is god...) and Tibetan Buddhist monks and Native American thinking (Lame Deer) in Superhighway.
My sound is guitar + harmonica + voice.
I'd like to say thanks to the people who have inspired me: Dan Driscoll in London for letting me play at Bungies and Glastonbury; Donovan for saying good things to us 'Cape' one night at a show; thanks to dancers who show us something... about our bodies that's sacred; thanks to photographers... who capture an aura that sparks a feeling + recognition; for painters for turning 2 dimensions into 3; for poets struglling with the order of words to make beauty. Thanks!

Love your Music! Thanks for requesting & adding me. MySpace has opened an amazing, unexplored world of music, film, compassion and spirit filled with talented artists, activists and networks for just causes.
Each new discovery of music from thousands of blues, folk, country, R&B, world music, etc. and from activists informing & fighting for children, peace, freedom, human rights, a healthy earth, breathable air, clear water, safe havens, mutual respect and on and on - have all helped to inspire and sustain me. I had to reenter the job hunt last summer as someone over 50 years old - followed by a successful cancer surgery with months of recovery ahead.
Thank you again for sharing your artistry and activism with me. You have kept hope alive for me. Keep the faith; keep making music, art and fighting the good fight!
