Carl Fischer is currently touring and recording with the piano man Billy Joel and is a featured soloist nightly on Billy’s sold out, top selling world tour of 2006. . Mr. Fischer’s agent Paradise artist, out of Ojai California, is also booking engagements for Carl.
Mr. Fischer leads his own band, Carl Fischer & Organic Groove Ensemble. He is a top call freelance trumpet player and studio musician in the NYC area. Mr. Fischer has been involved in music education through his endorsement with Yamaha Corporation, actively leading workshops and concerts across the globe.

2005-Principal chair in NYC Tony award winning Broadway show Movin out.
2004 - Recorded with singer Mariah Carey, producer Randy Jackson.
2004 - Recorded music for the Blue Man Group. National TV commercial for Intel
2003 - Released CD titled Carl Fischer & Organic Groove Ensemble. Fischmusic records.

2003-2004 - Toured and opened concerts for Maynard Ferguson. Featuring Music From Mr. Fischer’s new CD as an opening act. With also being a Member of Maynard Ferguson’s Big Bop Nouveau Band.
