About me:

As far back as I can remember fashion and making clothes was always part of my life before I ever could reach down and put my feet on at pedal of a sewing machine. My mother use to sew our clothes for us children and I use to watch her and was fascinated. I remember one of my dolls had a tear in her sleave so my mother helped me to thread a needle and showed me what to do and that was the first mending job I did. I took an old light bulb and some scrap material and made it into a doll and just crayoned the facial features and so that was my first sewing project and I was barely five years old. When I was in my teen my mother no longer made my clothes and so I started to learn to make my own clothes and gradually used my own creative ability as an artist to take an original idea from a paper pattern and add my own ideas it. I found sewing very it enjoyable and an outlet for my creative expression. It was soon after that I started to sew for family and other individual I came in contact with. As an adult I started home based tailoring business. In the beginning of that I was not yet at a professional level but as time went on and I strive to perfect my skill I gain many happy loyal clients which in turn by word of mouth my client base grew. I really never need to advertise since I was able to keep my clients happy. As time went on I dabbled in designing fashion for my clients and suggested different ways I could sew there outfits which they took delight in that. I went on a leave of absence from my business for about a year to catch up with things in my own personal life and to decide in which direction I was going to go in my career. The decision was a big one which could mean that i may loose some clients and disappoint other clients. I decided to no longer take in alterations or so at a bare minimum rate as I have in the past. If I was going to be a designer, then I must only do as a designer would. So instead I only took n orders that for fashion tailoring and reject other requests. I made of a portfolio of my designs and and publishes some of the collection on the Myspace page and also at facebook as you can see now. In the future i am looking forward to fashion shows and putting on business fairs in a way to promote my fashion business. I will continue to create interesting creative designs for people to wear at their venues and other occaisions. I will be updating and adding new designs to my album from time to time .. ..

Real fashion isn't found on the red carpets or on the runways. Celebrities have an entire team of beauty experts working on them to make them look pretty and also have $20,000 gowns given to them by designers.  But what about real women who want to be fashionable and pretty in regular life.  Real women wear real clothes when they want to look pretty for a party or dress for success at the office.  That is real fashion.
